Just as every year, FIBO 2018 seems to have increased in size. My yearly mission is the same – look at the latest trends, meet clients, prospects, and business partners, discover the newest equipment, meet industry friends.
As the world’s biggest trade show, FIBO features the big & the small, the technical and the old school, the innovative, the colorful, even the weird.
My key observation this year: Tech & apps are getting even more bandwith, if this is even possible. Those who know me, know my philosophy: While I admire the development and know that technology has its place in fitness, it can not replace face to face interaction. The human element of fitness is still the primary source for retention. A little oldschool, but also completely true: If your team does a good job, your members will renew their memberships.
Stands you should visit
With one of the biggest and definitely most happening stands at FIBO, Matrix are exhibiting their full range of equipment and solutions – from cardio to strength. If you’re in Hall 6, just follow the music!
Definitely visit CUBE Fitness in Hall 7 and their amazing Fitness Gladiator challenge – open for competition twice daily. The setup is something to behold. If my team misbehaves I will definitely make them finish the parkour!
Pop by Ziva on their generous stand for a chat and try out their range of accessories and free weights.
Last minute 1-2-1s!
We are fully booked for Thursday & Friday, but we are still taking sessions for Saturday. Email Yves directly on firstname.lastname@example.org mentioning FIBO meeting in the subject line to schedule a last minute session at the fair!
